तदपि करब मैं काजु तुम्हारा। श्रुति कह परम धरम उपकारा।।
पर हित लागि तजइ जो देही। संतत संत प्रसंसहिं तेही।।
अस कहि चलेउ सबहि सिरु नाई। सुमन धनुष कर सहित सहाई।।
चलत मार अस हृदयँ बिचारा। सिव बिरोध ध्रुव मरनु हमारा।।
तब आपन प्रभाउ बिस्तारा। निज बस कीन्ह सकल संसारा।।
कोपेउ जबहि बारिचरकेतू। छन महुँ मिटे सकल श्रुति सेतू।।
ब्रह्मचर्ज ब्रत संजम नाना। धीरज धरम ग्यान बिग्याना।।
सदाचार जप जोग बिरागा। सभय बिबेक कटकु सब भागा।।
छं0-भागेउ बिबेक सहाय सहित सो सुभट संजुग महि मुरे।
सदग्रंथ पर्बत कंदरन्हि महुँ जाइ तेहि अवसर दुरे।।
होनिहार का करतार को रखवार जग खरभरु परा।
दुइ माथ केहि रतिनाथ जेहि कहुँ कोपि कर धनु सरु धरा।।
दो0-जे सजीव जग अचर चर नारि पुरुष अस नाम।
ते निज निज मरजाद तजि भए सकल बस काम।।84।।

The behavior of animate and inanimate objects became uncontrolled under the spell cast by the Love God and it raised questions about survival of world in such an atmosphere. We learned this while discussing the verses given above, in the last post. We must be thankful to Goswami Tulsidas for giving us the invaueable Ramcharit Manas which offers us deep understanding of the otherwise difficult subject of relationship between Supreme God and the world. We wil move ahead now and enjoy more of it.

All became helpless as much as the branches of tree leaned towards creepers, the river started madly running towards sea, the big pools started merging with lakes, while this was the condition of the lower species and lifeless who then can give account of animate and intelligent beings.

Forgettng the season or time of the day all animals/birds which run over land, fly in sky or play under water, became struck by feelings of craving and lust. Thus blinded by force of passion even Koka (a bird which does not mate in night) forgot whether its day or night. The net cast by forces of Kaamdev did not leave gods,demons,humans,Kinners and family of snakes uncovered. Similar was the condition of ghosts of all varieties. Nothing much need be told because all of these are in any case afflicted by sentiment of passion and lust. Unexpectedly, even the recluse, Siddhaas, great Munis and Yogies started feeling seperated from their imaginerily beloved persons though practically had still not got involved in such activities.

What to talk of people of lower nature, the great Yogies and ascetics who see the world as play of God, made of the God and created by God, came under illusion and started looking for partners everywhere. The men saw world full of women and women full of men or so imagined. This became the condition of world/universe where love started playing its interesting games, all in a matter of a few hours.

The minds of all, under influence of god of love, lost composure and balance but yet, in these times of crisis Raghbeer ( i e Ram, the brave one in tradition of King Raghu) made sure to save those who were under His protection, from going berserk.

(We should learn here that those who look upto God as savior, who have desire to protect the good name of family and want to keep good traditions going, are not likely to be indulging in extravgent and wrongful behavior. Those contemplating on God do not have their minds engaged in pleasure seeking mode all the time and hence may check themselves even when the environment has become charged with love related activities.)
