The last post covered above given verses (ending with Doha 99 of Balkan in Ramcharit Manas of Goswami Tulsidas), the gods have been called to witness the ceremonies after the sumptuous dinner by Himvan in accordance with Lagan patrika.

All the gods who formed part of the marriage procession (all gods were there as the marriage of their master was going to be performed) were seated appropriately by Himvan. An alter was readied in accordance with the Vedic guidance while women sang praying for peace and grace. A divine throne was placed, it was made by none other than Brahmaji himself. Lord Shiv seated himself on this beautiful throne, bowing down to Vipras (educated Brahmins) but remembering his master, the great one among the Raghus (Ram).

The Munis called Uma and she arrived along with close friends, Uma had already been properly adorned for the occasion. The gods were enraptured looking at the beauty of Uma, such was the loveliness exuded that could hardly be covered by the renowned poets even. Considering that Jagadamba Parvati was going to be wedded to Shiv, the gods paid respects to her in their hearts itself (as there was no possibility to get near her and express the feeling right at that time).

The beauty of Bhavani was as much as could possibly be, it was so much as could not be covered by descriptions through even tens of millions of mouths (this represents the fact that Parvati on account of strength of her character and as goddess of belief is naturally most lovable and beautiful entity, many hearts appreciate it but none can truly describe the beauty of hers; belief is some thing that sets at rest a host of questions that can distur the peace of mind of anybody at all).

Tulsidas says that while Vedas, Sheshnaag (on whose innumerable heads the planets and stars of the universe rest) and Maa Sarasvati (the goddess of wisdom) can’t dare to claim capacity to describe the beauty of Uma, the humble and low-witted Tulsidas has attempted it. The treasure of beauty Maa Bhavani reached in the middle of the pavilion where Shiv was seated, because of being shy she could not clearly see the lotus feet of her master Lord Shiv although mentally she was only roving over them like a bee (keeping mind concentrated on feet is symbolic of being aware of the path that the owner of the feet takes and to stick to such path, in her earlier birth Parvati had been slightly unmindful of this and had strayed).

Seated there Shiv and Parvati performed Puja of Ganpati as directed by the sages, this may look absurd as Ganpati is son of Shiv and Parvati but Ganpati also represents certain qualities and traits that are essential for success for any venture undertaken and hence the god of such virtues is invoked and the considerations of time based history is irrelevant, the gods are considered to be ever present.

We have now covered up to Doha 100 of Balkand, read below the verses from original for pleasure and peace:
