जदपि जोषिता नहिं अधिकारी। दासी मन क्रम बचन तुम्हारी।।
गूढ़उ तत्व न साधु दुरावहिं। आरत अधिकारी जहँ पावहिं।।
अति आरति पूछउँ सुरराया। रघुपति कथा कहहु करि दाया।।
प्रथम सो कारन कहहु बिचारी। निर्गुन ब्रह्म सगुन बपु धारी।।
पुनि प्रभु कहहु राम अवतारा। बालचरित पुनि कहहु उदारा।।
कहहु जथा जानकी बिबाहीं। राज तजा सो दूषन काहीं।।
बन बसि कीन्हे चरित अपारा। कहहु नाथ जिमि रावन मारा।।
राज बैठि कीन्हीं बहु लीला। सकल कहहु संकर सुखलीला।।
दो0-बहुरि कहहु करुनायतन कीन्ह जो अचरज राम।
प्रजा सहित रघुबंसमनि किमि गवने निज धाम।।110।।

In the last post we learned how Maa Parvati shows intense desire to listen Ram Katha from Shiv in its entire detail and to receive subtle messages through it, it covered up to Doha 110 of Balkand in Ramcharit Manas of Tulsidas.

Parvati now asks Bhagwaan Shiv for more than just the historical Ram Katha and says, ” O Master, You must tell me the basic intricate principles that keeps knowledgeable Minis pondering over them, tell the difference between Bhakti, Gyaan (knowledge), Vigyaan (special knowledge) and principles of non-attachment and dispassion along with various aspects of each of them.

“There are further secrets related with Ram (Ram is known to be an embodiment of Dharma i e whatever He did was absolutely in agreement with Dharma, every deed of His, every interaction was impregnated with a principle conveying it to the world, making the doubts finished, mind purified).

“Also tell what is that makes intellect be discreet about the wrong and right leaving no room for confusion (i e intellect without a shred of impurity). And Lord I might not have asked some thing or other (of importance), O kind-hearted one, please do not keep it from me and reveal it too.

“You are the Guru (the spiritual teacher) of the three worlds as per the Vedas, the lowly beings, the Jeevas do not know one thing from the other.”

Muni Yagyavalkya says that the questions and doubts were natural and good for ones’ development, also they have been put forth without any deceitful objective in mind and therefore Lord Shiv appreciated it (this is how the questions should be framed and idea about the doubts be given by disciples interested in gaining knowledge, not do it with an idea of checking how much master knows). Lord Shiv became overwhelmed with love and got tears coming in eyes (Shiv was specially pleased that His companion and consort was not any more a stubborn one who had egoistic make up of mind due to being born in family which took pride in worldly status etc.) and this state of happiness made Him recall entire Ramcharit (Shiv is the first who saw the import of life and events lived by Ram as avatar) along with it Shiv had picture of the lord of Raghus Ram visible to Him in His mental space itself (the picturesque memory is said to be very good for recalling things and Shiv does have that kind of memory), it became reason for His immense joy and ultimate bliss.

As is wont, Shiv went in to state of Samadhi for a certain period of time (i e got lost in ecstasy of meditation for a while). Thereafter Maheshwar Shiv brought Himself back in to the world of consciousness and happily began relating Raghupati Charit unto Parvati.

We have now covered up to Doha 111.

पुनि प्रभु कहहु सो तत्व बखानी। जेहिं बिग्यान मगन मुनि ग्यानी।।
भगति ग्यान बिग्यान बिरागा। पुनि सब बरनहु सहित बिभागा।।
औरउ राम रहस्य अनेका। कहहु नाथ अति बिमल बिबेका।।
जो प्रभु मैं पूछा नहि होई। सोउ दयाल राखहु जनि गोई।।
तुम्ह त्रिभुवन गुर बेद बखाना। आन जीव पाँवर का जाना।।
प्रस्न उमा कै सहज सुहाई। छल बिहीन सुनि सिव मन भाई।।
हर हियँ रामचरित सब आए। प्रेम पुलक लोचन जल छाए।।
श्रीरघुनाथ रूप उर आवा। परमानंद अमित सुख पावा।।
दो0-मगन ध्यानरस दंड जुग पुनि मन बाहेर कीन्ह।
रघुपति चरित महेस तब हरषित बरनै लीन्ह।।111।।
