We covered up to Doha 190 of Balkand in Ramcharit Manas of Tulsidas in the last post and learned that the three queens of King Dashrath have become pregnant. With Lord Hari (Ram) having come in the womb of Mother Kaushlya to become manifested, all creation has become happy and calm because the Lord Hari is the very root that is responsible to give it stability and nourishes the tree of happiness.

The auspicious date, the ninth day of bright period of pious month of Chaitra (autum-spring time) presided by Lord’s preferred Abhijit Nakshtra arrived. It was the middle of the day, neither too sunny nor too cold, it was a moment of piety which offered the world a restful period. Fragrant and cool breeze started flowing slowly, the gods became happy (that Ram Avatar is about to happen to mitigate their problems) and the saints became very interested in and enthusiastic about the event that was to take place. The forests saw trees flowering, the mountains oozed Manis (precious stones which emit light all the time) as the nectar like river waters flowed down the peaks. When Brahmaji knew of the moment of arrival of the God Supreme, he prepared to go there along with other gods in decorated air-crafts taking to clear skies, the gods were accompanied by their families. The Gandharvas started to sing in soft tones. All the gods started to spread the flowers from above by arranging them in their palms. The skies were filled with by the loud noise coming out of drum beating. Nagas and Munis started praying and offering various kinds of services and stuffs.

The omnipresent, all pervading Lord became manifested who is the only shelter for the whole world to find its peaceful resting place, the gods sung their praises and made appeals before the Lord and then left for their respective places (as they all had to carry out their own ascribed duties while the Lord made an appearance on earth).

(The Supreme God is the very reason of existence and bliss for the world. He is getting manifested in form of a human in the family of those who have quiet and devoted minds. Only such minds can see God’s presence and therefore the Lord enables them to be perceived. A disturbed and distracted mind is never fit to see the God behind the creation and its conduct while it never ceases to be there or leaves it on its own. It is therefore that the play of nature outside and the states of minds of devotees have been described to be calm and in upbeat mood. It is not to say that in disturbed times the God can’t be seen or felt, the realized people keep their insides always so much at peace as to see Him all the time and everywhere, it is only a question how much one has trained himself in God orientation.)

We have now covered up to Doha 191 of Balkand.
