We covered up to Doha 201 of Balkand in Ramcharit Manas of Tulsidas and learned that Mother Kaushalya noticed her son Shri Ram at two places at the same time i e in her Puja-Room first and then also in the cradle where she had placed Him. For once she worried for the welfare of the son and astounded then thought it is some phenomenon not yet known to her. The Lord then smiled and showed her His real form, every pore of which contained innumerable universes.

This form of Lord, every pore of which held innumerable universes, each with a Brahma (the creator), a Shiv (the destroyer), a moon and a sun of its own; these universes had various mountains, rivers, oceans, earths and woods of their own (unlike or similar to what we see on our earth), it was different time and these systems had different types of functions to discharge, had differing qualities and basic nature, such types that haven’t been seen or heard by us on earth. The strong Mayic power of Lord was active behind all these universes, but Maya was only subservient to Lord and stood in command with folded hands. The creatures were also seen by Kaushalya which were under spell of Maya of Lord Hari; Kaushalya also noted the presence of Bhakti which was capable of seeing the Jivas there freed from the Mayic influence (similarly as on this earth).

Noticing all such things Mother Kaushalya became unstable and speechless, she closed her eyes and bowed down at the feet of such a grand form that she had been seeing remaining under awe; right at that moment the Lord, enemy of demon Khar (a name with literal meaning as evil and bad character), came back in His child form (which Kauhsalya was familiar with). Mother Kaushalya wanted to pray saying that she was so much unaware and innocent that she took the father of the universe as her own child but could not do it on account being under great spell of fear.

When Lord Hari saw her condition He consoled her and convinced mother not to tell what she had seen; on the other hand Kaushalya kept beseeching Him with folded hands saying ,”O’ Lord, please spare me, I should never ever encounter this illusive show of Maya and Yourself.

(Kaushalya wanted to remain enjoying the pleasures that a mother has upon seeing her child, she didn’t want to be bogged down with this kind of reality that would mar her the pleasure of nursing a child. While living in family and with having responsibility of the household, it is advisable to not be to much carried away by the more intricate knowledge of who the Supreme God is and other such questions, better is to see God in people around us and perform duties towards them as service to God and having pure love as would one have towards the God Himself. This will please the Lord too and keep the Bhakta also happy and remain involved with duty at hand.)

We have now covered up to Doha 202 of Balkand.

अगनित रबि ससि सिव चतुरानन। बहु गिरि सरित सिंधु महि कानन।।
काल कर्म गुन ग्यान सुभाऊ। सोउ देखा जो सुना न काऊ।।
