उपरोहितहि कहेउ नरनाहा। अब बिलंब कर कारनु काहा।।
सतानंद तब सचिव बोलाए। मंगल सकल साजि सब ल्याए।।
संख निसान पनव बहु बाजे। मंगल कलस सगुन सुभ साजे।।
सुभग सुआसिनि गावहिं गीता। करहिं बेद धुनि बिप्र पुनीता।।
लेन चले सादर एहि भाँती। गए जहाँ जनवास बराती।।
कोसलपति कर देखि समाजू। अति लघु लाग तिन्हहि सुरराजू।।
भयउ समउ अब धारिअ पाऊ। यह सुनि परा निसानहिं घाऊ।।
गुरहि पूछि करि कुल बिधि राजा। चले संग मुनि साधु समाजा।।
दो0-भाग्य बिभव अवधेस कर देखि देव ब्रह्मादि।
लगे सराहन सहस मुख जानि जनम निज बादि।।313।।
We covered up to Doha 313 of Balkand in Ramcharit Mnas of Tulsidas in the last post and learned that Janak and his family priest Muni Satanand have completed the arrangement for performance of marriage ceremony. They have sent party to honorably invite King Dashrath’s side to come over at the venue. Dahsrath also has pleasurably accepted the invitation and stepped towards the appointed place along with his Guru and saints and the rest.
सुरन्ह सुमंगल अवसरु जाना। बरषहिं सुमन बजाइ निसाना।।
सिव ब्रह्मादिक बिबुध बरूथा। चढ़े बिमानन्हि नाना जूथा।।
प्रेम पुलक तन हृदयँ उछाहू। चले बिलोकन राम बिआहू।।
देखि जनकपुरु सुर अनुरागे। निज निज लोक सबहिं लघु लागे।।
चितवहिं चकित बिचित्र बिताना। रचना सकल अलौकिक नाना।।
नगर नारि नर रूप निधाना। सुघर सुधरम सुसील सुजाना।।
तिन्हहि देखि सब सुर सुरनारीं। भए नखत जनु बिधु उजिआरीं।।
बिधिहि भयह आचरजु बिसेषी। निज करनी कछु कतहुँ न देखी।।
दो0-सिवँ समुझाए देव सब जनि आचरज भुलाहु।
हृदयँ बिचारहु धीर धरि सिय रघुबीर बिआहु।।314।।
The gods appreciated that it was a very special and pious occasion, they began to shower flowers and play instruments making loud music. Lord Shiv, Brahma and other gods, seated on their respective modes of journey formed groups to reach at the site of marriage of Shri Ram with great pleasure in heart while their bodies were thrilled at the prospect of watching Ram Vivah (marriage of Shri Ram) with their own eyes. Reaching Janakpur they become emotionally surcharged and found that their own Lokas (the worlds of every god) quite inferior (in decor and splendor). There were very specially made pavilions, all the creation there seemed to them unworldly. They found that the ladies and gentlemen were abodes of grace and beauty, they were well proportioned, were of righteous conduct, had good manners and etiquette and were knowledgeable. Looking at them the gods and goddesses felt like stars in the full-moon night (i e slightly faded). It was most disturbing for Brahma that he found nothing that was created by him (Sita had used her power and had summoned Siddhis to provide every thin in honor of Dashrath and party)
Lord Shiv found the gods surprised and lost and hence advised them to concentrate on watching with attention the marriage of Shri Ram and Sita with patience and not be distracted (Shri Ram, the real master of the universe and Sita mother of all creation were going to be married, this was to be enjoyed rather than ponder over their own inadequacies was the advice of Lord Shiv to gods. In this light we all should shed any misgivings and should be ready to soak in this divine event).

जिन्ह कर नामु लेत जग माहीं। सकल अमंगल मूल नसाहीं।।
करतल होहिं पदारथ चारी। तेइ सिय रामु कहेउ कामारी।।
एहि बिधि संभु सुरन्ह समुझावा। पुनि आगें बर बसह चलावा।।
देवन्ह देखे दसरथु जाता। महामोद मन पुलकित गाता।।
साधु समाज संग महिदेवा। जनु तनु धरें करहिं सुख सेवा।।
सोहत साथ सुभग सुत चारी। जनु अपबरग सकल तनुधारी।।
मरकत कनक बरन बर जोरी। देखि सुरन्ह भै प्रीति न थोरी।।
पुनि रामहि बिलोकि हियँ हरषे। नृपहि सराहि सुमन तिन्ह बरषे।।
दो0-राम रूपु नख सिख सुभग बारहिं बार निहारि।
पुलक गात लोचन सजल उमा समेत पुरारि।।315।।
Kaamaari (enemy of lust, Lord Shiv) explained, “The moot point is that Sita and Ram have that kind of influence that if their name is taken by some one belonging to this mundane world, the root of his misfortune gets destroyed and whatever he wishes for is begotten (when they are remembered the reality of universe is understood, it leaves no trace of worry or fear, the four ends of human life become available). This is how Lord Shiv set at rest the anxiety of the gods and then moved his bull forward.
The gods noticed Dashrath going ahead with his heart overwhelmed and body thrilled, the saints and Mahidevas (Brahmins) were accompanying him as if the joys and the pleasures of all kind had become incarnate to serve him. The four graceful and smart sons of his seemed to be incarnation of four types of beatitude (i e 1. Salokya (living in the Lord’s world), 2. Sarupya (getting form like Lord), 3. Sameempya (having constant company of Lord) 4. Sayujya (complete merger of attention in Lord’s form). Constantly fixing attention on embodied form of Lord gives such kind of experiences which ultimately lead on to salvation). The two pairs of brothers having golden and black pearl like hues, seemed very interesting to gods (black and white are like night and day, which covers the entire time cycle, this is how gods saw time transcended). The gods then had Ram in view and became delighted (knowing him to be God Supreme) and praised Dashrath (for his achievement) showering flowers on him.
Lord Shiv and Parvati concentrated on the graceful beauty of Lord Ram and time again appreciated Him by seeing Him from top to toe with wet eyes and thrilled body.
