King Janak met with King Dashrath with special regard and love and did all that was required as per the local custom and the Vedic system. The two great kings looked very dignified and graceful when they embraced each other, the poets failed miserably finding a match, like what the two kings represented, even after great efforts and gave up; they ultimately decided that this pair is unique and is the sole example of its kind. These two relatives endeared themselves to gods, the two greats like them were hard to be seen together and therefore the gods rained flowers on them and began to sing their praises. They thought and gave vent to their feelings that it was first time that they had occasion to see two kings with such equal status, followers and possessions who had now been connected with family ties although they had seen many marriages taking place since the time the creator Brahma created the world. The outbursts of such emotions, which carried a true message, in the havens by gods had a positive impact on the people on both sides and they felt surge of unworldly love. King Janak then walked King Dashrath honorably on the carpets laid, towards the pavilion.

The charismatic and tasteful decoration of the pavilion was enough to attract the hearts of even Munis; in such pavilion King Janak escorted everyone of the knowledgeable gentlemen personally and seated him. King Janak performed Puja of Muni Vashishtth like he would have done for his own Isht Devta (preferred deity) and obtained blessings from him. He then honored Muni Vishwamitra with Puja which he did with such great love which is rarely seen normally.

Enthusiastically and lovingly, King Janak honored Munis like Vaamdev and rest and gave them all suitable and elegant seats and he was then blessed by them all.

We have now covered up to Doha 320 of Balkand.

Bhavani Shankar Ki Jai!
Prabhu Shri Ram Ki Jai!
Sant Samaj Ko Pranam!
Goswami Tulsidas Ki Jai!

HariOm,

Krishna KHandelwal
