There were new kind of celebrations in Janakpuri every day and therefore the days and nights passed like a few moments. One day Dashrath, the jewel among the kings of the day, woke up in the early morning when the beggars and the needy began to sing praises of him; the King then saw his sons along with their respective brides and felt an unspeakable surge of joy. King Dashrath finished his daily routine and stepped out to meet Guru Vashishtth greatly pleased and steeped in love for all.

Bowing down before the Guru with hands folded he spoke in very sweet voice saturated with nectar and said, “O, high among Munis, with your grace I have today accomplished all that I set out to. O Master, now you may call all the Vipras and give them cows duly decorated (the king had been reminded by mendicants by singing praises of him that some thing had remained to do by way of pay back for having such good fortune which had fulfilled all his desires till date).”

Knowing what King Dashrath now wanted, Guru Vashishtth appreciated his decision and sent messengers for calling the Munis and all like Vamdev, Jabaali, Devarshi Narad and Valmiki as also the great Muni Vishwamitra along with all the rest of the Munis engaged in Tapa came as per the wishes of Guru Vashishtth.

(Whenever a king has accomplished his own desired objectives which happens only on account of guidance, good wishes and efforts of Vipras and Munis, it becomes duty of the king to immediately take care of needs of Munis. Cows provide every thing that Munis need hence the king and other people in society give it great importance to give cows and means to look after them to the Munis.)
