We covered up to Doha 111 of Ayodhya Kand in Ramcharit Manas of Tulsidas and learned that a Sadhu of young age came to meet Shri Ram and bowed down at feet of Shri Ram with intense love and with tears in eyes. He was then brought up by Shri Ram to His bosom which made him feel like a pauper having all the riches. It looked as if embodied love and the seeker of highest goal were together there. Then he paid respects to Sri Lakshman and put the dust of feet of Mother Sita over his head and got blessing from her. Nishad Guha did Pranam to Sadhu who met him happily but kept feasting his eyes on the beautiful form of Shri Ram. The people meanwhile discussed how it was not right on part of parents to send such tender children to forest and became distraught and sad for it. Later Shri Ram convinced Guha to leave for home; honoring command of Shri Ram Guha went home.

Sita, Shri Ram and Lakshman then did Pranam to the river Yamuna with folded hands and both brothers left there along with Sita while praising Yamuna (Yamuna is also known as Ravi-tanuja i e daughter of Sun; this is Yamuna’s connection to divinity). They came across many passers-by on way who used to look at the two brothers with affection; they very much wished to know as to why they were going on foot although their body and limbs showed signs of their coming from some princely family. They felt very sad and became worried noticing them across on their way like this; they felt that the science of astrology was not right as it was proving wrong in the instant case. They used to offer their help saying the path they were treading was leading to dense forest and hilly terrain and request for being allowed to accompany up to the point Shri Ram and Lakshman wished to reach and insisted on it particularly in view of them having a delicate young lady with them. They said that they would come back afterwards honoring their (of Sri Ram’s and Lakshman’s) advice and instructions (giving an inkling about their understanding regarding the divinity of the wayfaring trio).

This is how they interacted mostly and with their bodies thrilled and eyes tearful. Shri Ram used to speak back to them politely in softer voice and endearing words while convincing them that it was not required and that they should go about their business and follow their own path.

(The Lord only values the love of people and the inclination of people to engage in His service; God never wants people to neglect or deviate from attending their own duties and responsibilities at hand. The other class of people who have fulfilled roles and duties expected of them in line with their family, place and status or have shunned them with full understanding based on their temperament that has natural dispassion and disinterest in mundane world, are only fit to completely remaining in service of Lord in words, thought and deed at all times.)

We have now covered up to Doha 112 of Ayodhya Kand.
