We covered up to Doha 112 of Ayodhya Kand in Ramcharit Manas of Tulsidas in the last post and learned that Shri Ram, Sita and Lakshman did Pranam before leaving banks of Yamuna and left there while praising her, with satisfaction and happiness. The passers-by wondered why Ram, Sita and Lakshman were going on foot on such rough terrain while they appeared to be coming from some royal family as per the signs on their bodies. They wished to accompany them up to the targeted destination of theirs and return when their help would not be needed but Shri Ram very politely returned them. All along the way Totally overwhelmed people, all along the way, used to meet and converse with them in this manner.
All those towns and villages en route were the objects of envy for the cities lived in by the Nagas and the gods; considering the good fortune, piety and the avaricious beauty of those hamlets one wonders as to who might be those exalted people who came and lived there at the most opportune moments. Where ever Lord Ram stepped while moving forward during course of journey even the capital of gods i e Amravati could not stand a comparison; the inhabitants living near the wayside were praised, for being the rich collectors of past good deeds, by the gods themselves as they were able to have an eyeful look at Ghanshyam (one having complexion like a dense cloud; like cloud rains life giving water, Shri Ram showers His graces in the same way) Shri Ram , Bhagwati Sita and Lakshman.
Whatever rivers or ponds Shri Ram bathed in were praised by the rivers and ponds of lands of gods. All those trees under which Shri Ram rested were sung glories of by Kalptaru (the divine tree) itself. The earth beneath felt very lucky when the dust of lotus feet of Shri Ram fell over it.
The clouds kept the sun covered so that Shri Ram is not troubled when advancing on His way watching the mountains, birds, flora and fauna while gods showered flowers with untold pleasure of sighting Him from above go like this but longing for the pleasure to meet him like the ordinary folks on the lands passed by Him.
We have now covered up to Doha 113 of Ayodhya Kand.
