We covered up to Doha 23 of Kishkindha Kand in Ramcharit Manas of Tulsidas in the last post and this is further to it.

The team of chosen warriors of Sugreev used to come across some times demons who prefer to roam in nights and they used take his life in single stroke (they knew that no worthwhile information will come from them besides such people will only misguide). This team tried to comb the forest employing different ways and whenever they happened to meet some Muni they used to get around him with hope but nothing by way of success so far materialized.

At one time they became very thirsty and felt very uneasy; their efforts to search water did not yield any thing and in side the dense forest they lost sense of direction too. Hanuman at this stage assessed the situation in his mind and concluded that in absence of water to drink, his companions now have become ready to lose life; Hanuman therefore went atop an hillock and looked in all direction and happened to see a cave like opening on the ground some distance away which gave him a pleasant surprise in form of some clue about water. Hanuman noted that many types of birds that live in and around water bodies were going in and coming out of that cave. Hanuman, the son of wind-god, then promptly came down on the ground and indicated to all his team-mates the location of that cave. They preferred to keep Hanuman in the lead and entered the cave without delay (with his wisdom and capacity to think coolly in stressful situation, had already made Hanuman acceptable as a leader to all his companions; it is true leaders get born out of situations but they necessarily posses some special qualities too).

They viewed a small garden inside there, there was a beautiful pond too, in it many blooming lotus flowers could be seen. On one side in an attractive Mandir a lady, who had an aura of spirituality around her which comes due to practicing Tapa, was comfortably seated.

(When a devotee of the Lord in course of serving the Lord comes across a difficult pass in life together with others but rises above self and looks for helping others in society, he happens to develop vision and readily finds help at hand. He then is able to save lives of people but also gets to meet someone who can guide him in spiritual sphere and show the way leading to Bhakti.)

We have now covered up to Doha 24 of Kishkindha Kand.
