We covered up to Doha 24 of Kishkindha Kand in Ramcharit Manas of Tulsidas in the last post and this is further to it.

When the team led by Hanuman saw Tapasvini (the woman doing Tapa), they bowed their head down in reverence but form a distance (the godly persons should be always treated in this way). When Tapasvini asked, only then they told her the whole episode behind their presence there. Tapasvini then told them to first have water and then enjoy eating the sweet and juicy fruits of different kinds that were available there. After purifying with water and drinking it to their satisfaction, the search-team had the sweet fruits as directed and then they went near the Tapasvini.

She then told all about herself and wished to leave and reach where she could see Raghuraj Shri Ram but before leaving she advised them to close eyes and then go out of the den and assured them too that they would find Sita and would have nothing to regret for (she indicated them to close eyes that look at world out side and turn their attention inwards which will take them to Sita; Bhakti i e devotion is possible only by when the world outside loses charm and inner world where deep within Sita and Ram have their seat is focused up on).

The brave warriors closed their eyes as advised and found themselves at the sea shore. The Tapasvini also went to meet Raghunath Shri Ram and reaching near Him, put her head down at the feet of Shri Ram. She then sang praises of Shri Ram and politely submitted to be graced with unwavering Bhakti of the Lord which He readily granted her.

Tapasvini later left for Badivan (the forest of berries, up in Himalayas) honoring the command of the Lord, she now firmly held the image of both the feet of Shri Ram in her heart, the same feet that are the object of worship of Brahma and also of Lord Shiv.

(The advanced seekers of Bhakti routinely direct other seekers but when they meet a messenger of Lord like Hanuman and get to know whereabouts of the Lord they rush to meet Him whose grace only makes them get firmly established in His own Bhakti and makes them go to such place where He is permanently present, Badrivan is one such place.)

We have now covered up to Doha 25 of Kishkindha Kand.
