We covered up to Doha 27 of Sundar Kand in Ramcharit Manas of Tulsidas in the last post and this is further to it.

While leaving Lanka, Hanuman made such deafening sound that made the pregnant female demons miscarry their unborn (this may not seem right thing to happen but let us see here intent of the Lord as the Lord would have killed only the demons and not their female counterparts and the unborn children of the demons would have prolificated in to vast numbers again only to lead a miserable and unworthy life; it should be appreciated that on part of Hanuman, it wasn’t intentional but a fall out of his enhanced anger due only to the demons). Hanuman returned to the other side jumping across the sea and made ecstatic noise out of sheer happiness (as he had accomplished what he set out to do and something more than that but more because the lives of his companions would be saved now; also his expression of happiness was like life-saving medicine to dying monkeys and life saving drug should be immediately administered). All of those waiting for return of Hanuman rejoiced having set their sight on him and also took it to be their rebirth (for they had almost lost hope of living and had weakened badly; once again a servant of the Lord had proved to be the savior of life of them). The cheerful face and shining body of Hanuman (for a one who has had blessings from mother Sita, i e Bhakti incarnate, this is a natural out come, his face lights up and body gets charged) indicated to them that Hanuman had successfully accomplished the task entrusted by Shri Ramchandra to him.

They all met him and felt happy and relieved in the same manner as would a fish feel when put back in water after suffering badly for want of it. All of them then proceeded to report to Shri Ram and along the way they exchanged news and discussed what had recently happened. In the last leg they entered Madhuban, the forest of honey, and enjoyed the sweet fruits there after receiving consent of Angad, the prince of Kishkindha. The guards there too objected to this but were dealt with blows by monkeys and made to run away. They promptly conveyed to Sugreev that the garden is being ruined at the instance of the young prince but Sugreev was happy for it as he could make out that the Lord’s concern had been addressed and the mission was now accomplished (the bosses do not mind their winning teams to go over-board particularly after successfully doing a difficult job).

We have now covered up to Doha 28 of Sundar Kand.
