II Sri Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram II

We covered up to Doha 33 of Sundar Kand in Ramcharit Manas of Tulsidas in the last post and this is further to it.

Hanuman concluded by saying, “O Lord, Your Bhakti is ever so satisfying, pleasure giving and rewarding in a big way, to me it is so very surely; give me that extending Your grace to me and also bless me in such a way that is doesn’t ever leave, it should be permanently with me.”

“Listening to monkey’s very straight talk and simple approach, the Lord just said, ‘so be it’, O Bhavani Parvati.  Uma, who come to know of the essential nature of Ram, the Lord, they have no other emotion or intention besides having a desire to remember, venerate and adore Him. Who ever can make a permanent imprint of what transpired between the Lord and Hanuman, in their psyche and heart, will surely be established in Bhakti for the feet of Raghupati Shri Ram (the avatar form of the Lord of Universe whose every step is reflective of truth and of relationship between Bhakta and Bhagwaan).”

The group of monkeys who listened to what the Lord said and granted to Hanuman began to shout ‘glory to You, victory to You, O Gracious and Blissful Lord’ (as every one of them had totally understood the real meaning of the simple and straight exchanges between he Lord and Hanuman).

Now Raghupati Shri Ram summoned Sugreev, the leader of monkeys, and asked him to organize every thing that was needed to move the troop to Lanka and said, “there is no more a reason to delay hence order the monkeys in your army to march ahead.”

The gods watched it all with interest and showered flowers from above and left happily for their respective abodes in the heaven (for now they could see that demons are going to be attacked soon.)

The King of Monkeys called out and the chiefs of squads as well as warrior monkeys collected summarily. An army of different hues but rich in strength and fighting power consisting of monkeys and bears could now be seen all over.

We have now covered up to Doha 34 of Sundar Kand.
