When Pawansut Hanuman saw army on his own side in bad shape facing attack by Meghnad, he got angry and rushed like death in action and picked a huge piece of mountain and hurled it on the chariot of Meghnad. Seeing such a heavy rock coming towards himself, Meghnad went skyward to escape while his chariot and the charioteer got destroyed. Hanuman challenged him many times but Meghnad refused to appear before him for he had known the reality of having no means to influence Hanuman (Hanuman being totally dispassionate by nature would not have been affected by attacks from Meghnad at level of senses and mind).

Meghnad then went near Raghupati Shri Ram and began to speak profanities and used various weapons and arms against Him which were countered by Shri Ram most effectively. Seeing His expertise in the battlefield he got irritably ashamed and deployed his demonic Maya in many ways but that seemed like someone trying to playfully scare away Garud (the king of bird) holding a tiny snake in hand.

Under whose formidable Maya, Lord Shiv (the destroyer) and Brahma (the creator) also look very small, such Supreme Lord of universe is being fought by Meghnad with help of his own illusive tactics of no consequence, isn’t it a proof of distortion in his psyche.

we have now covered up to Doha 51 of Lanka Kand.

What Meghnad could do was just showering big fireballs from the sky and produce streams of water from under the ground while the evil spirits of all types were made to dance giving calls of cut and kill. Meghnad rained stuffs like excreta, blood, hair and bones some times and other times stones etc. Sometimes he made it dark with spray of dirt which would not let one see his own palm. The monkeys became restless seeing this and thought they would now die at hands of Meghna. Shri Ram smile seeing this game and noted that monkeys were much scared. With just an arrow he dispelled all the illusive spell of Meghnad in the same way as sun removes all the darkness when it appears on the horizon. Lord Watched monkeys with a gracious glance and monkeys regained their strength so much so that now they could not have been held back from fighting at all.

At this time, taking permission of Shri Ram, Lakshman took Angad along and marched angrily ahead, his bow and arrow held in hand.
